This is interesting to me. I know a young man who has one of these tattooed on his shoulder. He got it to commemorate his dad’s death, I think. It was a pretty horrific experience for him as his dad died in front of him calling him stupid because he couldn’t find aspirin in a freshman dorm.
From all accounts he was a good student and well liked with a diverse set of interests. That all changed and his life slowly fell apart.
Before I knew about the tattoo. I noticed that his thought process was a series of loops that he couldn’t break out of. The loops encompassed both real world scenarios and other rhelms… and real world knowledge that he could not know, but for the knowledge from the other rhelms. He’s been labeled schizophrenic. But I’m pretty sure he isn’t. I think it has more to do with the agreement he made when he got the tattoo. I’ve been pretty stymied as to how to best help him. This has gotten me thinking and asking God to guide my thinking on it again. Thanks for posting
