God used a fish to change Jonah’s mind. Jonah went to Nineveh, gave the message and the whole city repented in dust and ashes. God changed His mind and did not destroy Nineveh. Jonah got angry and went off to sit under a tree until God went and confronted him.

You who condemn the prophets for saying things that don’t come true on time are at great risk. Prophets have a hard task. They report God’s will to the church knowing that God can change is mind. However, people would rather condemn the prophet than search out why it did not happen. There are prophets have quit for this very reason. People want to shred them with their tongue instead of seeking out the truth.
