I remember the first McDonald’s in Oshawa, Ontario.
Still there today only so gross. Surrounding area became government housing, mega welfare recipients and drug addicts …was sad to watch the decline. My baby Sis and fam still live in the area and the growth around their home is crazy 😔
Our parents took the 9 of us out once a month for *a treat* back in the day, and “we the children” always chose A&W. 💪. It was when the waitresses (and yes all female back then, I think 🤔🤷♀️who knows lol) wore roller skates (not blades) and brought the food to your car window and hooked it on. We would use all four windows 👊
It was live theatre watching them carry the trays on skates 😂. Good times.
Such fun memories! Too bad there were no blades, especially in Canada.😂 I am from Ohio and can ice skate better than roller skate.
