Yes and no, but it is a matter of perspective I think. I have pondered this a lot and my only sane conclusion is that this is mostly the illusion of power shifting and what it looks like when the dark side is losing everything and our less informed population is confused and hurting (and mad at us). It is not a glorious or boastful moment because it is more like tough love. My best comparison is like taking a cat to the vet… there is a lot of resistance and noise, and you might even get hissed at or scratched, but the only alternative is not to care - but we do care. For this reason, I say let them hiss and cry, and just see how things seam later - which we can all hope is so much better than we can imagine right now.
