Update on the Alpha Lipoic Acid

Doc took my blood pressure yesterday. I haven't heard this in many many years, but my blood pressure was

114 over 69, yesterday

Previous to that was 135 over 81, 1 month ago

and Previous to the Alpha Lipoic Acid was 170 over 91 (best I can recall) (near stroke levels) 2 months ago

My Doc is now recommending this to all her patients she proudly proclaimed!!!

Well fancy that, she listened!!! 😉

I am not sure how to answer your question but...

I can help to explain more of what it is and what it does...

I hope this helps!!!

I also talk additional supplements, like Ceylon Cinnamon (Sugar levels), DHEA (Diabetes), Garlic (heart), which help level things out, but adding in the ALA has incredibly done the trick, like the missing ingredient for me that I was lacking.

Interesting I am type 2 diabetic also
I didn’t start eating better since 2020 but by then my A1C was 16 at that time that was when I was diagnosed with cancer the first time. Since then I eat better but sugar is hard to not eat it is in everything. Thought about just going vegetarian but I don’t think I can I love meat too much. I would love to get off of insulin all together though.

I appreciate your struggles
I don't have diabetes but some family/friends do. FYI a friend was on insulin said she hated it, felt not great and decided to be ultra rigid re her diet and go off insulin. Her doc refused to be her doc if she did that and she said fine and found a new doc. Has been off insulin and doing.ok for 8 years
now. I know everyone is different. Good luck and healing 💜🙏🙏

We are working on bringing down my insulin amounts! Now I am beginning to have a more stabilized level with the Alpha Lipoic Acid. Already noticeable differences. I have been to a specialist on foods, twice. And both times they tell me what I am eating is right in line with what she recommended. Back then I could literally look at food and somehow gain weight, lol. Anyways, this ALA has changed the entire ball game and medicines are coming down. I take more herbals and growing more at home as well! I cannot take certain insulins, the only one I could take that seemed to help for years because I do not make my own, was the extended release. My mom took the regular insulin for many years. But that did not work well with me. more below...

I am type 2 and watched what I ate for years, but couldn't lose the weight, even with bouncing on a mini-trampoline for an hour and a half each day for months, I lost some, but it just wasn't doing much. However, getting out to hike helped more and my A1C at its highest over the years was about 13? And it has dropped since I began the Alpha Lipoic acid, in fact most of my tests dropped, even the high cholesterol that the doc was so concerned of, I wasn't. But never-the-less, I managed to lose 6 pounds in a month going on it, heart rate and blood pressure is well within normal range now. A1C level dropped. My friends husband who passed away had sugar levels they have never seen before. He would have levels of like 2300 and was still walking and talking. Usually that high, people are dead. Like I said though, my doc is now recommending this to all her patients now! One of the most important reasons for me to go on it was because of the neuropathy... cont below

I have neuropathy in my legs, back, and upper arms, and I have had bursitis before. Painful most crap to go through, had to have shots to help with the amount of pain, but I worked through it with therapy and the ALA should help that not happen again, as it reverses neuropathy! I also have retinopathy and lost both eyes to complete blindness about 7 years ago. I had surgery and had them reattached, but only have vision from one eye now. Sad sad loss for me. But, I started to learn what the docs never told me. Lutein with zeaxanthin (I take 20mg per day (eye doc never told me this, had to research myself, Bilberry for night vision (as it helps), and some other things that help diabetes like Milk Thistle and so forth. My neuropathy has reversed, my doc had said the nerves were at one point shrinking back in my hands, the nobby bumps on my palm, more below...

That was me my doctor said I should have been in a coma I just felt a little off 😂with insulin I can get it down pretty quick to around 6.8 then I stop the insulin because they switch it up on me without letting me know (pharmacy) with all the stuff since Covid not really happy about injections of anything is my problem.
