In case someone else needs this info, I began the Plan B therapy on my own a couple weeks ago that put my IBD into remission over a decade ago when I told the Doc the several thousand dollar script she gave me wasn’t going to happen.
Pepto Bismol caplets. I procrastinated on starting them again because of all the ‘other’ crappy ingredients in Pepsi products. But I found a clean Brand of digestive aids. Wonder Belly. And I have been feeling so much better that I am thinking about calling the GI tomorrow & putting off the appointment I have with him on the 13th until sometime the end of February.
Going to pray over it tonight. I still distrust this diseased based system so much.

thanks for letting me know. so that isnt it. you have acid/balance issues. did you take a lot of antibiotics? a naturopath/homeopath can help you. even on line to get ingredients needed. i wish i could help you. and no i am not a one who knows treatments but that appears to be what it is.. starts in mouth in to the out point!! off all sugars or sweetened anythings. which you probably did already. its more common that you know and people keep taking tums etc.. they actually keep the problem active.. why natural approach is better cause its slow and progressive.. let me know how your doing if you want.. i care! you can IM me here.

I had been able to hold off the IBD this time until the 2nd surgery for a piece of broken tooth root my surgeon missed. The second round of antibiotics nuked my gut, no doubt. All downhill after that. I have been popping pre & probiotics for over 6 months it feels like.
The inflammation just got ahead of me. I should have begun the Pepto type treatment 2 years ago along with heavy probiotic regimen.
Lesson learned.
