Fact is, the WORLD produces about 800-900 million ounces per year, yet the World consumes about 1.2-1.3 billion ounces per year thereabouts, and that's gonna increase with advanced technology, because Silver IS the most conductive metal on the Planet (that we know of).

Anyways, that simple production/consumption math means we're melting Silver candlesticks, coins and bars just to make TVs, solder water pipes and take Silver meds. I use colloidal silver on any cuts or abrasions. Works great!
