I used to read JimStoneFreelance regularly then he kind of disappeared. I always found him to be reliable.
For years, he reported that Iran was an occupied country but that the people were pro-American citizens and anti-American govt, and that Iran itself was a beautiful place with modern amenities, low crime, etc.
