At least seven people were shot, one fatally, in a series of shootings across Chicago on Christmas night, police said.
The violence unfolded over several hours in multiple neighborhoods, according to Chicago police.
A man was shot and killed at about 10:11 p.m.
The shooting occurred in the 7400 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue.
