absolutely horrified seeing this. poor things. i worked part time in nursing homes as an RN when my kids were young. loved them all. got hugs and gave hugs. smiled and took the time to touch them physically when talking and emotionally.. i had one lady thank me for that. i had not thought anything about it. she said no one touches us. it left its mark forever. she made a difference in my life and my work. its automatic after that. in whatever job i did. i just couldnt even watch the rest of it.

It is imperative that we go back to honoring and caring for our seniors at home. The idea that seniors needed to be "put" into a home was totally engineered for one purpose- transfer of generational wealth. It's sickening. Love and wisdom, understanding and forgiveness is what is needed to turn around the destruction of our families. This horror is happening in facilities across the country. We need an army of volunteers to start visiting these homes with an open heart and eyes. It may be the only protection these poor souls have. 🥺

beautiful words thank you.. generational housing as it used to be. three generations in one home is gone. my daughter is doing it now with her alzheimers mother in law. both working so it makes it so much harder. not easy but i am proud of them both for their caring.. not sure if i could live with my kids. i am strong willed and so are they. a separate apt but next to would be okay
