I have had high cholesterol for decades... I was put on statins in 2003.... November. I took one pill and woke the next day with chest pains. Stopped taking them.

In Aptlril 2004 was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. stage 2 Cured in October that year.

Successive drs tried to lower the cholesterol, I suffered joint pain in shoulders, hands, and lower back...

In 20011 I said ENOUGH and told the Dr I was not willing to take any more statins, that I would prefer to lose a few years at the end than live in pain now... should have seen the drs face...

I still have high cholesterol (340 there abouts.) But still have my faculties and no joint pain due to drugs.

Statins are very bad they cause mineral build up in joints - like uric minerals in a toe - gout... but it can attack any joint.
