🚨BREAKING: Former Broadway child star Imani Dia Smith, known for playing Young Nala in Disney’s “The Lion King” on Broadway, has tragically died at age 25 after being stabbed in Edison, New Jersey.

Her boyfriend, Jordan D. Jackson-Small, 26, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, endangering the welfare of a child (her 3-year-old son was present), and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Authorities responded to the 911 call on December 22, 2025, finding Smith with fatal stab wounds; she was pronounced dead at a hospital.
