My reason for asking.
I've been trying (unsuccessfully), for a number of years, to get lump sum payments for a couple of pension policies that I took our years ago, when I had my own business in the UK. I'm now back in Canada, and am having a lot of trouble trying to get hold of my money. I've been given quite a runaround, and am at the point where I just don't know what to do next. It sure would be nice to know that, if, I don't manage to get hold of my money, before the new 'system' comes into effect, that at least it will be protected.
