The Song That Grows Without Asking

The elders say
Creation begins where listening is gentle.
Nothing is forced to open—
It happens when patience is complete.

I was taught that care is a sacred act.
a way of tending what is fragile
until it remembers its own strength.
This is how harmony survives.

Some beauty is born quietly,
asking only for respect,
for the courage to nurture
without claiming ownership.

Life moves in shared breath—
one giving, one receiving—
each trusting the other
to keep the balance whole.

So I walk with gratitude in my hands,
offering what I can,
taking only what is needed,
knowing that growth is a prayer
answered not by demand,
but by devotion to the living circle.
