So True, my hubby had swelling of a lymph node on his neck, that our dog kept sniffing. It was soft so I knew it was not from getting a cold or sore throat.
We wanted to just get it cut out and sent out, but doctor wanted to biopsy it. It made it mad and his whole neck swelled up. And it was cancerous. Doctor freaked out and forced us to cancel our Vegas trip and undergo treatment immediately.
Yup Stage 4 base of tongue cancer...I should have stood my ground on the surgery first. The lymph node encapsulated the cancer cells and it would not have been released into the body.

Yes one reason why I refused to do any more mamograms. They wanted to do one every 6 months to "watch" a suspicious spot which was scar tissue...then I got tons of benign tumors, uterine fibroids.
Yes, Lets smash your breasts and Radiate it so IF there are small tumors, we will make them grow larger so we can see them.
