Jewish small businesses were common on 125th st in Harlem. That is what Malcolm X is referring to -- the customers liked to hear that these merchants took advantage of them, True or not it doesn't matter now. Those Jews are long gone; now those in Harlem can complain about other ethnicities robbing them, Koreans, Indians, etc.
