PINE PITCH SALVE RECIPE:

1/4 cup pine pitch (hardened resin from pine/spruce/fir trees)
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons beeswax pellets

Instructions:
Collect hardened amber resin from damaged tree bark (never cut fresh wounds)
Melt pine pitch and olive oil together in a double boiler on low heat
Strain through cheesecloth to remove debris
Add beeswax and stir until fully melted
Pour into small tins or jars
Let cool completely (sets in about 1 hour)
Apply directly to cuts, splinters, inflammation, or sore joints.

Amazing stuff! Just a side note: if you got that sticky pine sap on your fingers or whatever, a squirt of WD-40 will get it off easily, then just wash area with soap afterwards. I keep a can of it just for this in my toolbox for when I trim any sticky pine stuff.
