Agreed.

Penalties must be worthy of the crimes.

And tax payers should NOT be asked to keep them alive in relative comfort for decades.

I think, stripping them of US citizenship, and banishing them to muslim nations to survive there is suitable.

They try to undermine the legal process, for masters who pay them, they should be removed from the process they saught to destroy, and become the sole responsibility of those they chose to serve.
