Another idea...

What about hanging this and using shower curtains that are thicker and making a round greenhouse for climbing plants or tall shelves? You could attach the plastic to wood at the bottom or a pole to keep it in place with wind? If you didn't have a tree to hang it from, you could use a pole or an umbrella stand alone and do the same?
