I respect the effort of this, still would rather have a tree BUT, lets say this is all good, they are being watered by the road runoff water, horrible. If the land they are on is higher than the road and set back 100 ft, then maybe. But road run off kills fish on streams, many PFS (forever chemicals from coatings on tire and other chemicals, oil etc. not to mention exhaust fumes and other things I can think of.
Trees would be best. This looks like a roadside farmer's market with leaves on the fruit.
Asia has the right idea -- they save their fruit seeds and toss them onto the grass from their car windows. Fruit is abundant. We need that 🥰
