I think one of the most gangster things my mama did when I was a kid was LITERALLY not tell me about "golden books" and princess stuff etc. Spent the night at a friends and she had them. She was floored I had no idea about like princess books. SO when I went home asked mama WHY didn't you tell me about them. She said cause no such thing as a princess no such thing as a knight in shining armor. Some days you are gonna wish things were not so hard. YOU gotta rely on GOD>

SHE also had my back skipping skewl etc. They would call and complain and about me not complying. She told them maybe if ya weren't boring her with nonsense she would listen. hahaha
😂She figured out I was staying up reading all night. Then instead of oh no you don't feel well was how many books did ya read, INFO not fairy tale shit. GOT tickled when I told her, I start at the front decide the probable ending, if interested read thru to see if I was right on the book. hahaha
