JEWISH SETTLERS RUSH TO PALESTINE; Population Has Doubled Since the War, World Zionist Organization Says.
The Jewish population of Palestine has more than doubled since the war, according to an official memorandum from the World Zionist Organization submitted to the League of Nations and made public yesterday in this country by Dr. Stephen S. Wise, Chairman of the United Palestine Appeal, which is seeking $5,000,000 from the Jews of America for the agricultural colonization and other development work of the Holy Land.
