She stood there in a solemn gaze upon the shimmering crystal doorway. Should she take the step forward or return towards the growing shadows?
Each crystal glimmering like a diamond in the moon light. Urging her curiosity to move beyond what she knew. Beckoning her forward into a place she had never been before.
She was warned of the silence, the utmost piercing deafness that would come. She was warned it was a journey of no-return, as this doorway could only be used once.
Could she leave behind all she knew? Could she leave behind the only home she grew up in? Would the community miss her or come searching for her? How much time was left before the portal closed?
Believea God IS, mom of 3, grandmother of 3, Trump supporter from the onset, advocate of the REAL CONSTITUTION, bad at technology!!
These questions were the last thoughts that needed to fledge because she already had the answer. Yes , she was ready. She would walk forward, leaving the comfort of the known behind. A place where others could begin.
