Curious Thoughts today...

Was thinking about Puff the Magic Dragon...
(I love that story..but it got me connecting dots..)

Dragons..they are in Archaeology finds...but seem to be no more.
We are told after the fall of Adam and Eve..the tempter was cursed to "upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life".
"I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed".

Revelation 12:9: "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him".
The dragon is also linked to the "old serpent" from the Book of Genesis who tempted Eve.
Rev 12:7-9

Even in the song Puff The Magic Dragon the line: "Dragon lives forever not so little boys."

Imagine "That rascal Puff.." being who we are at war with.
"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." 2 Cor 11:14

The dragon in Revelations is the Catholic church, especially the Pope who usurps the Lord in that religion as Jesus divinity is denied.

Maybe .. to me it is how ever Darkness is used.

Yes it comes in many forms of Organized evil..

it feels more personal.

I care about those who are deceived or harmed..that feels PERSONAL!

The same deceiver who suggested to Eve God isn't what she thought is a warning about who you trust believe and listen to.

You are not a catholic it seems, me either but Mother is and she’s 100 this year. She believes nothing, no God, no Savior yet she keeps her New Testament received in her Confirmation. It sits next to her bed, never moved, never read, but there as a symbol of her faith. It is sad but I trust when she passes she will awaken to reality. That’s personal too. The catholic church deceived her entire life and left her without a Savior. Babylon means all good and truth has left the church so people cannot relate to God. Catholics know nothing of Jesus, he is sidestepped and ignored while ‘saints’ and Mary are the main spiritual beings provided to worshippers.

I went to Catechisms when a child we attended Mass. The window stain glass entertained me I was maybe 4 to 6 Yrs.
Mom was Presbyterian so went there when visiting Grands. Attended private Cath..then Luthern. Went to Methodist Church when moved because could walk. (All had stain glass.)
Received my first Bible at Luthern school...I prized it..and my 10 Commandments bookmark.
What I gained was seeking God..because I knew he cared .. violence lived in my home.
Bible says "we are all held accountable by conscience and creation." it was my choice to seek God after a friend & I realized the Methodist Pastor didn't know God...Nancy went after boys & drugs.
We all get invitations inside to seek Him. I was stubborn but His love melted me & won.
No Church saved me. As God loved me I read His Word to learn more. At 23 I heard a thought so LOUD I turned around...it said How can you tell others about me if you don't know me.
Left next day 5 Hr/day + Bible School.💛
