If even half of what the retired ICE guys are saying is true Jessica Tisch’s office has graduated from mere sanctuary city theater to actively sabotaging federal law enforcement operations on American soil. Leaking raid locations and timelines to activist networks isn’t civil disobedience it’s closer to material support for organized interference with duly authorized arrests. The irony is brutal the Commissioner demands ICE give her 48 hour heads up which they sometimes do out of professional courtesy, only for that courtesy to be weaponized into a bat signal for professional protesters who then physically blockade deportations and fight her own officers. She gets to play the scolding adult in the room this endangers public safety while quietly ensuring the feds can’t do their job and her own cops end up taking the punches. That’s not principled resistance that’s bureaucratic cowardice dressed up as moral superiority. I
