I grew up in Connecticut where the minimum age was 21 to get married without parental permission, so in 1964, my husband and I eloped to Poughkeepsie, NY where the minimum age was 18....I was 19 and he was 21! And after 61 wonderful years, our adventure still continues....we are so blessed!
