I haven't flown in a helicopter. Not sure I would want to thanks being cursed with motion sickness. I run outside whenever I hear helicopters outside. Every now and then military helicopters fly over. In 2021 I had 2 Ospreys fly low over my property. That was most unusual. I tried to video them but forgot to hit the button to start the camera! UGH. By the time I realized it they were specks flying off in the distance.

One day SPECIAL FORCES/NIGHT STALKERS flew over our ranch home SO LOW I COULD SEE THE BIG SMILES ON THEIR FACES as everyone was waving, my FLAG flyin' back n' forth! My wive a hollerin'! (We're an aviation family, too.)
Could almost read their Helmet CallSigns they were so low. 😂
Total commotion and excitement!
I do that about twice a week where I'm at. They use the rural area as a corridor to move UNSEEN (except by me! 😃)
I'm lookin' up so often surprised I don't trip more on my face 😂.

That’s awesome that you see them frequently.. The pair I saw were just above the trees. I could only see the pilots faces. No idea how many people were in each one. I’ve seen a handful of ospreys since but never flying that low. I have an American flag flying on my property that is lit at night. They would easily see it if they didn’t notice me fumbling with my phone! 🤣
