We had the offer on a house we are interested in accepted.

The loan company gushed about our credit score, and how we have managed our finances.

We proceed with the loan, water test, all documents sent in good time (mid October),

We get contractors lined up for the work on thd new house.

Then, the loan company has issues with the fact that as the mail does not deliver to us at the house, we have a PO box in town... so that stalls the process while a 'waiver' is produced.

Then 'there us an issue with an easement' (but we are not going to say which one).

So here we are a month after setting the closing date still waiting for the loan to be approved.... wth.

To top it off, I fell in the hay barn this morning, and I am really hoping I did not break my back again. 😫

I was just about 95% from breaking it 3 years ago...

The alliance of evils heels are over the cliff edge... I do hope it won't take another 10 years to shove them over it completely.

As a former realtor; I feel your pain and am very familiar with loan companies halting at the last minute
I am praying for your back for speedy and complete healing.

Thank you so much for that well wish, the heating pad is definitely helping, I think I just stunned all the lower muscles.

On this pesky loan, as we had a VA loan, re mortgaged via the VA, to the low rate in 2021, and are looking to take equity underwritten by the VA, there should be copious information available to them.

They are saying they cannot find the right of access from the private road (that has 9 homes along it) to the main road at the end... very frustrating!

We are searching our original mortgage docs now - feels like we are doing their job for them.

At the end of the day, if this property is not meant for us, we must accept that, and the loss of good faith money.

We were also feeling that the community we were moving too was very welcoming... if this falls through, we will always feel we missed out on that. But if fate has decreed it's not for us, one can only hope we will find something better.

My farrier would be happy, she loves my horse!😁
