The REAL reason Democrats have been keeping the government shutdown is for Big Pharma
What happened with Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act is health insurance companies bought the hospitals and the doctors, they then created these HMO plans. Since they own both the hospitals, the doctors and the insurance companies they raised prices to astronomical levels
They don’t actually pay those rates because again, they own everything, they’re really paying themselves. So essentially they’re paying nothing, but the taxpayer IS paying those rates for everyone who’s on these Medicaid and Medicare plans
Democrats want this racket to continue for their Big Pharma donors so they’re keeping the government shutdown until they get the funding for the health insurance companies

FFS… our biggest problem is that too many of us believe that politics is real and that there are actually “sides.”
All the speculation about why the “Democrats” are blocking the re-opening of the government is useless.
If this shutdown is not a sign of the end of the system that MUST be taken down, then we are ROYALLY screwed.
My opinion - the government shut down is part of a plan to acclimatize the stupidest among us to the idea that WE NEVER NEEDED ANY OF IT. IF the government reopens, it will be a severely curtailed version of its former self.
This has to be the end or we are just idiots for believing in “The Plan.”
