Theres a whole story that Paul left on a rainy night after an argument, wrecked his car and died. They were afraid the screaming girl fans would go to drastic ends when they heard. So they found a new Paul. Even had plastic surgery to cover the ruse. Theres a documentary, somewhere... YouTube...Rumble? Can't remember but we watched it a year or so ago.
