You should not pass judgement on all SNAP users. There are extenuating circumstances for people who really need this help. An Ex. A mother has an autist child and her husband divorces her. This child can not be left in the care of others, because they don't understand or know what to do when the child is having a meltdown. Most people won't even babysit for her. This mother can only work part time and she is not receiving any support. She raised this child with only help from her son. The child is now 18, but still autist. So SNAP is essential for their survival. Both are American citizens born and raised here.
I am not at all against the program many need it and deserve it. It is a safety net. Should not be a way of life passed down for 3 generations.
The fraud has to stop so the bandaid is getting pulled off.
NO ONE is going to go hungry over this, just keep watching.
