If that fkr so much as flinched towards me, he would have been seeing a purple Haze of my boot going for his fkn jugular. JS> Teach your daughters how to FIGHT> IF necessary.

💯 ol_cowboy
We have local hunting associations in my area donating monies/resources to schools to provide classes around archery! The interest has been awesome plus getting the kids outdoors! Great competitive events could encourage more growth!
I’m all into this & educating kids on guns!
Proper respect for handling and using!

💯 That's great Debbie!
I think it's SO important to teach our kids how to defend themselves.
We from time to time see the stories of young kids who actually saved their parents BECAUSE they were trained in safety and proficiency in firearms use.
I actually know a lady who lived on a very rural farm who's son saved her life from a pair of home intruders who had grabbed her and were trying to force her into their car (YOU KNOW what they were gonna do). The boy was only 10 years old, was out hunting birds in the field when he heard the commotion, ran towards his Mom and the assailants with his .410 shotgun and fired off a round. They released her and sped off and were later apprehended by Law Enforcement.
He saved his Momma's life. True story.
10 year old.
Agree, and that example is on so many levels a lot for a 10 year old to process had he not been taught the safety aspects in its use!
Sometimes just firing it gives a strong message & he had the tool at the time to give that message…bravo!
Thank you for sharing ol_cowboy & love all the wisdom you share here… so bravo to you for just being YOU👏
I rally in any way we can protect our children & I see many forms of defense they can learn, archery as the example, if it were taught (and that’s a BIG word) in today’s school aura, seemed like a step in a positive direction for sure🙂
Heck, I see archery like a stealthy mode of defense if needed & if you are proficient in it🏹
It’s not being taught for that purpose, but once you see the potential for it’s uses, it’s another tool in case you run out of gunpowder 🙃
I suppose I’m just kidding 😉 & for educational purposes only🙂
