I think what they really want is no kings meaning The King of Kings. They like their chaos, filth, and sins.
They worship a king, whether it be themselves, government or satan himself. The First Commandment states, "You shall have no other gods before Me," emphasizing the importance of putting God first in one's life. It serves as a foundational principle for the other commandments and highlights the exclusive worship of the one true God.
They won't get Him until they bow before Him and declare Him King of kings, but by then it will be too late for most. A few will see the light and repent but their lord has been defeated. Their soul will be in chains for eternity with their Master (Deceiver) where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
