JFK just became President. My teacher knew you were a special man and wanted us to know that fact. She wrote a song about you on the blackboard. She got the whole class singing it.
My teacher was bursting with admiration for our new President.
We were so little, we were still using crayons in class. My life was good then. My teacher planted a seed in us. Now our life was going to be GREAT.
