Not sure, they were not mine (I was out visiting), but I think your guess is correct a/k/a cape daisy/African daisy.
It was one of those beautiful moments where you know dang well the sun was yawning and rolling over to pull a cover up over itself for some hibernation months …so you best enjoy whatever warm daylight coffee hours you had because soon enough snow would be knocking the Summer snot out of your scenery 😂 It is a real mood!
