Like in the 1945 case of "Flight 19" in Florida where 5 TBM Avenger Torpedo Bombers were sent off course and perished, because they ran out of fuel trying to get home after GHWB (aka NAZI Spy George Scherff Jr.) put magnets underneath their compasses and sent them totally off course off the coast of Florida.

Kat, I suspected that Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan were White Hat Military Intelligence, and that her trans-world flight was perfect cover,
except that she probably was seen & shot down, not crashed, when the Dark Ones spotted her Electra.
