I remember playing ghost in the graveyard, I remember playing red rover, red rover, I remember riding my big wheel and my bike.
I remember sitting at the dinner table with my siblings and my parents and saying our prayers before we ate.
I remember eating my dinner and not being able to get down from the table until I ate all my dinner.
I remember playing outside until it was dark and the street lights came on and I had to come in
This generation will never understand any of that greatness that we experienced.
This generation will never understand the simplicity of life and the value of family and the simplicity of childhood. They never will, and that makes me so sad.

Amen to that, rocco. We just need to count our blessings for growing up when we did, perhaps. I wouldn't trade all that for this crap these days.
