Saw this, but this is solar. One step closer to your No Wires concept!
Namibia:
In 2017, deep in Namibia’s arid desert and hours away from the nearest settlement of Solitaire, a pink fridge appeared in the middle of the sand. What seems at first like an abandoned appliance is, in fact, a fully functioning refrigerator powered by solar energy. Under the relentless desert sun, exhaustion and thirst can weigh heavily, but the discovery of cold water inside this strange pink box brings sudden joy. Visitors pause, open its door, take a drink, and find themselves refreshed enough to continue their journey. The fridge is the creation of Namibian-German artist Max Siedentopf, who installed it as part of an art project rather than a commercial venture. His intention was simple yet profound: to offer an unusual experience that prompts reflection on environment, survival, and human connection. ~ Dr. M.F. Khan@Dr_TheHistories
