Adding to that heartache, of also having to navigate this World that's full of hypocrisy.
One where the rampant breeding, bleeding and butchering of certain species is perfectly acceptable and 'normal'. Yet totally unacceptable if the same ware applied to another species.
When in fact the difference is only in ones perception.
