Whatever happened to treating patients?
I go to the hospital ER when I think it is an emergency, they run test, find out what's wrong, and fix it?
Now, once you can breathe they say it isn't an emergency, even though they did nothing and my breathing improved with effort.
They send me home.
Home to the same? Yes.
I am not an emergency.
I was a nurse for 20 years, and now cannot even get someone to help.

Anybody have any suggestions.

Find a naturopath doctor or get Barbara O'Neill's home remedy book. I haven't been to a medical Dr in almost a decade, although I have to pay for insurance out of my social security. Thanks Obummer!
I buy the cheapest insurance I can.
I use essential oils, caster oil, neem oil, hot baths with borax, pink salt, baking soda and Epsom salts to detox and for any breathing issues. I also put lavender oil on a hanky and breathe it in until it resolves.
I also bought a nebulizer if I think I need it. Where I live is humid and hot: lots of mold to deal with.
Anyhoo, lots of alternatives to help yourself. You can't rely on the medical model for anything other than a broken bone. Even then, have them set it and then seek alternative care or self care. No one is a better advocate for your health than you. And the medical profession is severely compromised. Wishing you a speedy recovery 🙏

Unfortunately I believe I need surgery to repair a hernia that no herbis going to fix so I can get more than a few minutes sleep at a time.
