The 'world' is just 'being what it is'
Fallen
'lieth in wickedness'
under the wrong spirit ruling

That's why Jesus said he 'wasn't of it'
"not of this world'
but He didn't take it over, God the Father sent Him to die for the sins of all instead.

Some people today believe tRump is like St. George or David, anointed by God - that's part of the 'lying age' too.
They're forgetting the 'god of this world' Luke 4:6 is at work ... the d'vil is Not dead and in the Lake of Fire yet.

The d'vil is twisting and contorting people's Reality, minds and souls, lest they 'receive God's Truth'. 2 Cor 4:4

Consider how many followed Jesus and then drew away.
It was only when they receiving the Holy Ghost were they able to be 'sound of mind' and speak Truth - same is True today.
The field of the world is either Wheat (of God) or Tares (of the d'vil).
