I have always said "the list" is a narrative to distract from the ongoing issue that we are trying to address with the trafficking. Yesterday the DOJ posted the interviews they recently did with GM so I listened to Day 1. I do not know her and had no expectations going into that interview. She provides a very different account of that list and where it originated and why. She also provides other details that are very different than the story we have about her in the media. Who is telling the truth? I do not know, but it is appalling if it is true they were waking her up every 15 minutes for 2 years in prison and it is obvious to anyone that listens to her that something has been done to her. Maybe that is why she was moved.
