This is what the customer service rep at our power company just told us when calling to get a status of when the power will be restored.

“The wind turbines are frozen solid so there’s no reserve power aka no power to start back up on right now. This has impacted our ability to rotate outages among customers. Electric load must be reduced in order to fully restore service across the ERCOT grid.”

So, because the power at our water company is also out, our town has no water and it is 7°. 😳
