I agree with you, if you go off just the words Artificial Intelligence, I believe it has been around for a very long time. However if you mean Quantum AI with our computers, our computers, not very long. However with other beings computers, it must be in much better order than our computers. Or at the least we can hope so!

The copyright lawsuits ongoing with artists and creators demonstrate something to consider and that is that these models are trained on what you feed into them. Just like science and modeling are based on the data. Everyone that works with data understand that data entry people who are generally toward the lower end of the pay hierarchy (unless it is narrative data or data that requires training to interpret before inputting) and that they are critical to ensure whatever analysis or conclusions derived from the data are accurate.
