Well, I have to have another surgery,#22. Hiatal hernia and ubilicus hernia repair, because it is interferring with my breathing.
No wheezes, in lungs from my asthma diagnosis that came 5 years ago. As soon as I was able to dislodge the hiatal hernia with a little finger manipulatin and pushing, no more trouble breathing.
I went to th ER because when I cannot breathe it is an emergency for me, but it wasn't for the Dr. who said because I managed to relieve the pressure through the 4 hours in the ER waiting room of wiggling, poking, proding, and burping to get the damn thing to move so I could breathe it was no longer an emergency.
5 falls in the last week because I can only sleep an hour or 2 at a time, so, I just dip out if I stop, and fall wherever I am when my feet quit moving.
I called everywhere, but cannot even get a surgical consult until Sept. 11, 2025. I hope I can hold out that long without a fractured skull or pelvis. As an extra, when I sleep my oxygen levels drop,

How frustrating & scared you must be, Shelia.
Just reading your post & replies makes me sad.
I'll keep you in my prayers.

Thank you. Yes, I am scared, but not of dying, just suffocating to death.
Well, one thing good about it, when I try to sleep my heart rate goes down into the 30's and I san't breathe, so I get up and start the fight for air. Now, I casn barely eat a few bites because it will not go past the blockage easily and I am learning new acrobatics to move it.
I will be fine, after all I have been dealing with this particular problem for 5 years, it is just a little worse.
