This is going to absolutely blow your mind

Dr David Morris “You want to know why something isn't covered by insurance that you think might help you or your doctor thinks might help you? — I'm going to read you this, this is Medicare guidelines section 2251.3

I'm quoting this to you, ‘A treatment plan that seeks to prevent disease and enhance the quality of life or therapy that is performed to maintain or prevent deterioration of a chronic disease is deemed not medically necessary.’”

READ THAT AGAIN

This is the state of healthcare in the United States. Prevention isn’t profitable so it’s “deemed not medically necessary”

Although it is not reimbursed by health insurance companies, there is a huge industry based on the nonsensical idea of being able to prevent “diseases” because it is all based on the hypothesis (which is defined as an unproven assumption), which has been declared to be true, that “diseases” have something to do with diet, exercise and lifestyle, which in turn can easily be pseudo-explained with any correlation study because you can always link anything that occurs in many people's life to something that has no causal connection.
