We are the most consumer driven than we’ve ever been. TikTok, Facebook videos abound as to what to buy (on Amazon). Curated groups of “stuff” you never knew you needed. More and more and more products, gadgets, furnishings and decor for the home. I got caught up for a short time (6 months or so) and realized it is a never ending desire to acquire more. I’ve had to fast from it all and read scriptures about laying up treasures in heaven. The people of the Bible had no idea the stuff we would have today.
