Maybe there's both. Aliens and demons. People tend to think one or the other. Christains think demons and non christains think aliens or nothing besides us. Some people would crumble to find out the religious narrative could simply be control. In this time everything is up for questioning. One only need look at the Vatican. It has been the seat of evil for millenia, and millions of humans worship the pos in white. I've always hated the Vatican and pope's. And my Faith doesn't come from scripture, it was personal experience and prayer. I Believe there is one Truth, surrounded and buried by lies. I don't care what it is, I just want to know. And I won't miss a beat, the Truth will be implemented into My Life. But many can't handle the Truth. Maybe what's left of scripture, what hasn't been stripped away or added to, or books completely removed, is True. And maybe the world where evil Reigns does allow a book full of God's Word to be in every hotel rm, and sold for cash. Seems a stretch.
