I can remember as a child, living in Okla. seeing trucks with a rifle rack behind their head with their rifles in full view. Also, men wearing a gun on their hip. That was in the early 60's.
We had had rifle racks in our pickups in HS. They had rifles in them while at school. GA. No school shootings. Imagine that!
