When Cells came out was slow to get one.
When did only used for customer contact.
Over years got hooked realized when Mobil Network lost my Number when changing service.
I have disconnected from Contracts about 20+ years. Buying unlocked phones back when GSM or CDMA. (Lots of research & Background undergrad Technology.)

My point, I buy removable battery phones. Use a Faraday Bag as well. Though I pay for service my service is used when I turn on to use. I am a no body... Discovered when you do things different people often move on. Similar to COV.
My life is actually better...the silence has been good though had God not started me on this journey long ago..would be hard.
Also discovered Verizon Pay as you go docks your service when unplugged.
Gut disliked Verizon.
